Sixteen Candles vs The Breakfast Club
Tivo gives Sixteen Candles 2 1/2 stars while The Breakfast Club gets 3. WTF.

That seems about right to me. Both movies are great but TBC has a real human side to it. The coming clean, flare gun in my locker, taping Larry Lester's buns together we are all the same confession scene coupled with classic exchanges like: "What if your house, no, what if your family, no, what if your DOPE was on fire?!?" "Impossible sir, it's in Johnson's underpants...", and then brought together by "the essay" just seems to get at least 1/2 a star more than the "My brother just paid $15 dollars to see your underwear" and "No more yanky my wanky - the Donger needs food!" But that is just me.
Well, both were better than Pretty in Pink. But I wonder how Tivo would rate Some Kind of Wonderful?
